Lead Pharmacist Education, Training and Development

We have an exciting opportunity to join our KCH E&T team as an 8a Pharmacist based at The Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH). There will also be cross-site and working from home opportunities.
This is a great time to join our team; there are many national changes taking place around the initial education and training for all pharmacy staff and KCH are at the forefront of implementing these opportunities to develop our trainees for the future.
The key roles of this job include:
To lead the Trainee (pre-registration) Pharmacist foundation year across all sites and take the role of Education Programme Director (EPD). This includes working closely with EPDs across KHP and HEE in developing this new foundation year.
To support the tutoring and management of STEP (Structured Training and Experience for Pharmacists) band 6 pharmacists at PRUH and the South Sites.
To participate in the provision of the clinical pharmacy service at PRUH.
To lead on the provision of education, training and developmental opportunities for Pharmacists at PRUH and the South Sites.
To support the Principal Pharmacist – Education, Training and Development in the preparation of strategic plans for training and development for the whole department.
