Lecturer (Teaching) / Senior Lecturer (Teaching) in Paramedic Science (Two Vacancies)

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic academic colleagues to join the paramedic staff team in the Department of Paramedic Science and Physician Associates. The successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery and on-going development of the successful BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course and will teach across this course, the BSc (Hons) Top-Up course and the Foundation Degree: Technician to Paramedic course. The postholders will be required to teach theory and skills on the paramedic courses, contribute to inter professional learning and teaching across the School of Allied Health and Community and be involved in the delivery of CPD activities. The successful candidates may also act as an Ambulance Hub Link, supporting students and liaising with mentors and they will support students via tutorials and by being a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT).
The Department of Paramedic Science and Physician Associates is one of four departments in the School. In addition to the Paramedic courses, the School offers Foundations Degrees in Health and Social Care, Undergraduate courses in Health and Social Care, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Social work and Master’s courses in Nutritional therapy and the Physician Associate. The School has an exceptional reputation for excellence and the successful candidates will further develop the quality of our provision through strong collaboration with our practice partners.
