We have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our well established Department of Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Health Psychology.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide input to the multidisciplinary Renal Service at based St George’s Hospital. The Renal Service provides a full range of renal replacement therapies for the local population as well as transplantation for the wider community in South West London, Surrey and Sussex. The Clinical Psychologist is a key and highly valued member of team and as such the post is seen as an integral part of the service.
Applications for the post will be particularly welcomed from candidates with experience of working in Clinical Health Psychology settings, ideally within Renal Services. However, experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate relevant skills developed in other specialties and who are keen to develop expertise in clinical health settings may also be considered. The post holder will be provided with regular supervision and support from the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and lead for Clinical Health Psychology. Peer supervision sessions are also arranged on a regular basis. The Department of Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Health Psychology is committed to continuing professional development and career progression. The Department also has excellent links with St George’s Hospital Medical School and the University of Surrey.
