This is an exciting and challenging role for someone that has a keen interest in supporting the education and development of student nurses at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Trust Temps are looking to recruit flexible, motivated registered Nurses to provide ‘Just-In-Time’, person-centred practice learning support to student nurses employed as Healthcare Assistants and Advanced Healthcare Assistants during the COVID-19 outbreak. This is a fresh approach to supporting student nurses and will form a key part of strategy to ensure our future Nurses are adequately prepared and supported to complete their undergraduate training.
This is an exciting role that will use all of your innovative, education and change management skills to enable our future Nurses to develop their knowledge, skills and competence to complete their training.
You will be an experienced Nurse with a passion for education and training and practice supervision in the practice setting. The role includes all aspects of teaching, practice supervision, skills training and will be undertaken both within the clinical area or an educational setting. The role also involves an element of practice assessment, evaluation of learning and audit also, so knowledge and understanding of these areas of education practice would be highly valued.
This is a delivery-focused role and to be successful you will need to be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage competing priorities. You will need excellent communication skills, as you will be working with a diverse group of students as well as a diverse range of staff, trainers and organisations.

The job role is initially for 8 weeks but this may be extended.
